SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION:  NOTICE OF “PROPOSED” FFY15-17 DBE GOAL

In accordance with 49 CFR §26, the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has established a proposed overall goal for participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) in its United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) assisted contracts for Federal Fiscal Years (FFY) 2015 -2017 as follows:

For federally-assisted highway contracts – 12.5% with 3.5% projected to be met through “race-neutral” measures and 9.0% through “race-conscious” measures.

The goal statement and methodology will be available for inspection for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of this notice, during the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at SCDOT Headquarters, 955 Park Street, Columbia, SC, in the Office of Business Development and Special Programs, Business Development Center, Room 107. This information will also be available on SCDOT’s website at http://www.scdot.org/doing/businessDevelop_DBE_Methodology.aspx. SCDOT will accept written comments on the goals until July 28, 2014. Comments must be submitted to Paula Hollis, Business Assistance Manager, SCDOT, P.O. Box 191, Columbia, SC 29202.
